CUM ITS Awarded "Teraz Polska" Emblem

The Motor Transport Institute has won the 36th edition of the "Teraz Polska" Competition. During the gala held on June 8, 2026, at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, the ITS Automotive Services Center for Disabled Persons (CUM ITS) was recognized with the "Teraz Polska" emblem.

The award was granted in the services category because CUM ITS is a unique support center for people with disabilities in the country, which defines specialized mobility assistance. The center offers advice, technical consultations, training, and access to reliable information on vehicle adaptations, driver training and examinations, and devices supporting independent mobility. CUM ITS is also a place that responds to the needs of users themselves and specialists working with people with disabilities.

For the Motor Transport Institute, the "Teraz Polska" emblem is a confirmation of participation in public services that include expert information, responsibility and practical support. It's worth noting that this is the Institute's second award – a few years ago, the ITS Road Safety Observatory also received the Emblem.

- We may be burdened with systemic actions promoting the mobility of people with disabilities. CUM ITS aims to truly improve and enhance the everyday lives of these people, and this award demonstrates that we are following the appropriate regulations, as the service center benefits from unwavering attention - says Prof. Marcin Ślęzak, director of the Motor Transport Institute.
ITS has been conducting research, projects, and educational activities in the field of movement and mobility for years. CUM ITS is one of the fundamental ways in which scientific knowledge can be translated into accessible health solutions that are most worthwhile.

It's worth noting that the Center operates in accordance with the provisions of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Article 20, relating to mobility. Therefore, its mission is to facilitate access to high-quality automotive services, assistive technologies, and specialized support in an accessible, permissible, and permissible manner for actual users. Participation in the Center's activities is At the National Automotive Services Information Point, individuals without a driving license, their families, instructors, examiners, medical examiners, dealers, and adaptors can obtain professional assistance.
Gala of the 36th "Teraz Polska" Competition

This year's Gala will take place on June 8, 2026, at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw. The Competition Jury selected 25 winners from 10 voivodeships: 17 products, 7 services, and 1 innovation. It also featured three honorable mentions. Among the awarded companies and institutions, representing a wide range of industries—from technology and industry, through medicine and food, to modern services and digital solutions.
"The "Teraz Polska" emblem is not just a symbol. What remains are remnants, equipment, and development. This year's edition demonstrated that Polish companies and institutions can not only respond to change but also create it," says Michał Lipiński, Director of the "Teraz Polska" Competition.

The Gala concluded with a concert The Representative Orchestra of the Polish Air Force, conducted by Lieutenant Colonel Paweł Joksy, with soloists Natalia Krakowiak and Oliwia Golańska.
