Global automotive media in ITS
The Motor Transport Institute hosted two delegations of journalists – from the Republic of South Africa (RSA) and the United States (USA) on November 14th. The visits were conducted under the framework of the „Brand Hub MŚP” project, which aims to promote the Polish brand of an innovative economy and the technological potential of Polish SMEs globally.
The presence of representatives from eight leading editorial offices, including prestigious trade media such as the SAE-published Automotive Engineering International (USA) and influential opinion-forming portals like the leading news site News24 (RSA), underscored the international significance of the meetings. These media outlets, reaching both the technical community and millions of readers (News24: 6.6 million followers on Twitter), are crucial for building a positive image of the Polish Future Mobility sector.
The main focus of the visits was the presentation of the activities of the Connected and Autonomous Vehicles Competence Centre (CK:PAP), which has become a showcase for Polish research potential.
During the meetings, ITS representatives presented the general scope of the Institute’s activities. Then, CK:PAP experts presented the Center's research and development activities, including ongoing projects and organized events.
A key element of the visits was the dynamic demonstration of ITS’s research capabilities, including the presentation of the mobile measurement platform acquired under the DARTS-PL project and the driving simulator research stands.
