"Rally conference"

After a two-year break, the Polish Ecological Rally started again with the Scientific Conference "Vehicles of the Future". The motto of the 7th edition of the rally, which started on April 28, was "Memory of the past, the basis of truth, good and beauty". The event was held under the media patronage of TVP Polonia. The co-organizer of the event was the Motor Transport Institute.

This year, to commemorate the 340th anniversary of the relief of Vienna, the participants drove their vehicles from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology through Częstochowa to Vienna, then went to Rome, where a scientific conference was organized. The next stages of the Rally were: Monte Cassino, Dachau and return to Wrocław. 

During the rally, participants paid tribute to the heroes who died in the fight for the independence of the Republic of Poland, among others: in front of the Monument to the Murdered Lviv Professors in Wrocław, the Monument to the 100th anniversary of the Independent State in Oława, on the Kahlenberg hill near Vienna, on Monte Cassino and those murdered in the concentration camp in Dachau.

The rally conference lasted until May 7 and was addressed mainly to young scientists, students and doctoral students who focus their scientific activities on issues related to the construction and energy of vehicles, including "vehicles of the future" - drones.

The organizers - the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology in cooperation with the Motor Transport Institute in Warsaw - invited motorcyclists and drivers of commercial vehicles who care about the good of our country to participate in the event.

Rally route: Wrocław - Częstochowa - Vienna - Rome - Monte Cassino - Rome - Reggio Emilia - Dachau - Wrocław.

Motto of the Rally Conference: "I love Poland and you love it." The motto of this year's edition: "Memory of the past as the basis of truth, good and beauty".
