A new book in the MTI publishing offer
The monograph “Decision-Making Problems in the Standardization and Certification of Transport Services” contains systematized scientific knowledge on quality, standardization and certification, as well as practical proposals of selected solutions for the effective and efficient management and improvement of transport services.
The current standards regarding quality and quality management, the decision-making issues related to standardization and certification of transport services as well as issues related to the quality management are discussed. Also the risk management and configuration of transport services are presented. Neural modelling was included and the use of artificial neural networks in the certification of transport services has also been proposed.
Examples of practical use of selected and previously described methods and tools in the field of quality engineering, supporting decision-making during certification of transport services using current international standards, are given. Particular attention has been paid to improving certification processes.
