International distinction for MTI
On the May 14-15, the Global Innovation Forum took place in Limassol, Cyprus. The event was organized by the International Archimedes Innovation Club with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) and the Ministry of Energy of the Trade and Tourism Industry of the Republic of Cyprus. Forum meetings, attended by representatives of 20 countries from three continents, were accompanied by an exhibition and the inventions and innovative technologies competition.
There were 60 inventions submitted to the competition, in 12 thematic categories, including 5 from Poland. Among the innovations coming from research institutes and universities, the gold medal was awarded, among the others, to Motor Transport Institute for the project: "Road Safety Education Centre (CEBR)". The authors of the solution are: Maria Dąbrowska-Loranc MSc, Dagmara Jankowska-Karpa MSc and Aneta Wnuk PhD.
