In accordance with the Announcement of the Minister of Education and Science of July 17, 2023 on the list of scientific journals and reviewed materials from international conferences, the scientific quarterly "Automobile Transport/Motor Transport" received 40 points and - at the request of the Editorial Board - the scope of scientific disciplines was extended. 

Current scientific disciplines are:

• automation, electronics, electrical engineering and space technologies;
• security engineering;
• civil engineering, surveying and transportation;
• Material Engineering;
• Mechanical engineering;
• economics and finance;
• security science;
• management and quality science;
• education;
• psychology.

The scientific quarterly "MotorTransport" covers the thematic area of the broadly defined issues of road transport. It is a formal continuation of the periodical "Motor Transport Problems", which has been published by MTI for many years. The original (reference) version of the journal is the paper edition.

The journal is under the scientific patronage of the Polish Maintenance Society and the Polish Scientific Society of Internal Combustion Engines.
